I am a
Primary School Teacher from Palakkad. Even our 10th
standard students find it difficult to frame a meaningful sentence,
neither are they confident to express their ideas in English.
I wish our
primary teachers try to make students familiar with simple sentence
formation. This will boost their confidence in writing about simple
topics like tree, food, pond etc. I hope this attempt will strengthen
the foundation and the student will be able to communicate well in
English by the time he finishes 10th.
I am a part of English Blog by contributing learning materials for
primary classes. Instead of focusing more on textbooks, I wish to encourage
children in writing about familiar topics in their own simple
sentences. These are some samples. Please go through them and feel free to
express your opinion. I wish more teachers from LP school join English Blog and share.

Excellent effort madam...keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nizar Sir for those encouraging words.
ReplyDeleteActually after posting this I was eagerly waiting for the first comment and am really happy that it is yours.
I have been in touch with Mrs. Suja Ramesh through emails for the last one month and I could feel the energy that is there in her words and deeds. The post above is a compilation of some four or five emails that she sent to English Blog. And she said she was eagerly waiting for comments to improve herself and the post. From experience I know that there won't be much comments lest complaints and had informed her about it. But Nizar sir's comment is more than enough I believe.

ReplyDeleteIELTS Speaking Question
Hello Nancy, I read those questions in IELTS . very nice. I think it is very useful for teachers and high school students. It'll be fine if such talking sessions are conducted for teachers in their English training programs.
DeleteThe effort is appreciable. When people are just wasting time, it is a good attempt for our future generation.Hope that You come up with new stories, poems and also mo information or the tiny tots......
ReplyDeleteVery good, such simple deeds make one great

I am very happy to read these nice comments. Writing simple reading materials need lot of thinking. I hope our teachers would use such materials in their class rooms . Students can write their own sentences just by reading these. Readers , kindly help to popularize this site.
ReplyDeleteSuja Ramesh is a dedicated teacher and her attempt to develop the standard of our children is praiseworthy.
